Drum Corps fans recognize the importance of the signature song which usually was the "off the line"  or the initial song played by the Drum Corp.
The SRLAA is pleased to present you with five of those signature songs. Two of them by St. Lucy's  Cadets who, as you are probably aware, won the National Championship in the late sixties.
Many Imperial Lancers Alumni marched with St. Lucy's during that time and added to their success.
I hope you will enjoy the music...........
Jeff

PS.......Please indicate which version of St. Lucy's "off the line" you prefer (1968 or 1969) by posting on the bulletin board.
Whichever year wins, I will post that year's entire repertoire for your listening pleasure.

Thanks to our friend Tom Doyle, I am able to present to you the entire Woodsiders repertoire from 1962. Although Tom has provided us with all the Woodsider years from 1959-1964 I choose 1962 because I believe the selections of music that year were the best.
This is the year that included "Rock a Bye Your Baby" which was one of my favorites.
To listen, click on the picture of the Woodsider buttons.

A special feature......over the next few days only ........listen to St. Kevin's Emerald Knights from 1962........A little scratchy but the album is over 40 years old.

a In 1968, at the American Legion Nationals, in New Orleans, the St. Lucy's Cadets took the big easy by storm and won the National Championship.
Congratulations to all of the SRL Lancers Alumni who were a part of that dream come true.

This was the Imperial Lancers line-up in
1963.
Many of these individuals support the SRLAA and attended the Imperial Lancers reunion dance in 2002.
All of the color guard still look in good enough shape to put on that old uniform and get out there and march again.
Not to sure of the guys though.
I'm pretty sure if I tried to play the soprano again I would blow out a few crowns.
